Talk: Software Architecture and Agile Practices

Daniel Horton (Dan) has been architecting and developing solutions for approximately two decades. As an architect and sr. manager, Dan is currently working for a large retail company in NJ. He leads teams in the design and development of innovative and intricate solutions that address various business problems. Throughout Dan’s career, he has delivered solutions across various industries, for companies like Pitney Bowes, IBM, Lucent, DuPont, State Street Bank, Barnes & Nobles, Weiss Peck & Greer, and Bed Bath & Beyond. He has also published technical articles on various software development techniques and is working on publishing a book.Currently Dan is assisting with the adoption of agile practices in his company and providing guidance on the implementation of agile architectural practices across the enterprise.
